Mae West - Anne Marie Finnie
Anne Marie Finnie - Mae West
Originally from Long Island, Anne Marie grew up watching all those old black and white movies from the 30's and 40's. Anne Marie was singing, dancing, and dressing regularly like Carmen Miranda by the time she was 8. Running away to join the circus was her dream. She would often play the role of lion tamer with her neighborhood friends. Morphing into the role of Mae West's lion taming character Tira from the movie I'M NO ANGEL - "the girl who discovered you don't have to have feet to be a dancer" - proved to be Anne Marie's destiny. For the past 18 years Miss Finnie had donned fabulously flamboyant finery camping it up audaciously in over 200 Mae West appearances.

Sophie Tucker - Maggie Worsdale
Maggie Worsdale - Sophie Tucker
Originally from NJ and one of 7 children, Maggie was a notorious sleep walker. Maggie's parents kept a watchful eye noticing that strange and wonderful talents emerged while in a sleep walking stupor. One night she would recite Shakespeare - the next she'd whistle Dixie while tying her shoe laces with chopsticks.
Groucho Marx was a Tuesday special - Maggie's folks had to sit through two shows. One wintery night, Maggie's grandfather told her all about The Last of the Red Hot Mamas - Sophie Tucker. That was it! Maggie would crawl into bed and her mom and dad sold tickets. The show began roughly at 10:30pm. Her 6 siblings worked the refreshment stand and her grandfather took 20% off the top. With the proceeds of those Sophie Tucker shows, all the kids graduated from the U.Of.Penn and Georgetown Law School.
